I know this is the "Open Discussion" forum and we have free speech, so feel free talk shit. We won't ban anyone here, for we cannot. I encourage anyone who may come here to block any users that are unproductive and just wish to muddy the waters. I will be using this feature judiciously.
The report is damning and that sucks. I've been here before. I was a Cleveland Browns fan. When they brought in Deshaun Watson if felt really gross. I decided I could not support that organization anymore. I felt betrayed.
Same boat here. Can I support a program that allows this to happen? Can I support a staff that claims ignorance, though promoted it? Why didn't I look into this matter earlier? Doesn't it feel like everything was brushed under the rug in hindsight? By The University or the media, or both?
Now I have to consider how I feel if I watch basketball. Obviously there are other factors at play but ... that roster. I'm certainly not making any claims here, this roster was assembled with parts from the "pull your own part junkyard" with 15 minutes left before you get locked in.
The more I think about it the worse it feels. It is a gut punch.
