Dirty hit on Clayborn

I asked Jon if anyone mentioned it at the presser on Tuesday...I never got a response. And I also threatened to walk into Wisky's practice and calmly chop block Bielema and leave without saying a word...well, assuming I wouldn't get my a$$ kicked by some Badgers...

Shane,
I am sure about 70,000 would of had your backs.

I mentioned the hit on another thread, but unless you watched the game on TV or were focusing on AC then you would have missed it. The hit seemed intentional and at the angle that he was hit, AC is fortunate (As are most Hawk fans) that he was able to come back in as quick as he did.

AC was being blocked by the tackle and the fullback came in from AC's right and hit him on the side of the leg just above the knee. It was mentioned by the announcers, but that was about the last I have heard about it. Whether intentional or not, it was an illegal hit in my opinion that was not called.

I was hoping to see Bert on crutches this week :)

It didn't seem Clayborn was the same after the hit. I'm sure he was feeling it as he limped off for a few plays. I doubt he got the same kind of push afterwards.
