on the BTN pregame "pick-em" bit. But neither had much confidence - DiNardo 3 pts, HoGriff a mere 1 pt.

They're more optimistic than I am. I just have a bad feeling about this game. Ironically, I think we'll improve drastically by season's end.

Kurt will have the boys playing much sharper today. And that bizarre meathead Matt Roth will get them very fired up before they roar out of the SW tunnel.

Why, not that I agree with Eddie P about the Northern Illinois D being the best Iowa will face this year I would wager to say they are better then the ISU D that Iowa will face today.
 
Hawks will rule today. JVB will be on fire throwing the ball around to 8 different backs and receivers. Like Bullock was a surprise breakout player last week, someone else will step up today.
The defense will contain to the tune of 1 TD and 3 FG.
