I don't fully understand the considerations that go into a university's decision to allow a kid with a medical issue to play or not to play, but it's interesting that after both Tennessee and Indiana said no, UNM would say yes.
I assume the primary obstacles are legal, but if the kid signs a blanket waiver I don't see why they wouldn't let him take the chance.
Having said that, if something bad happens it will cause some negative pub for the coach and the school. In any event, even at UNM, I wish Negedu good health, coupled with ineffectual performance.
