Having trouble finding the video of it, I'm sure somebody can.
100%Game started with 6 fouls called me against the Hawks
None against LSU
Officiating like that certainly affected the play of the Hawks from the start and
The entire game
Zebras Killed the Rally for certain with the technical on Caitlin
Still difficult to believe how biased the zebras were for LSU and against the Hawks
Gonna take a while to completely get over this one
Totally incompetent officiating in the Woman's
Championship Game
Still would have been a tall task for the Hawks to win, but they weren't given a chance to compete on an equal basis
Iowa committed tons of fouls Friday night that didn’t get called. Why were you not starting post about that?Really, if you think about it, the Iowa players/staff took a lot of cheap shots throughout this tournament. Both physically and mentally.
Officiating didn't lose the game. It took away the game that fans tuned in to watch. A lot of fans probably tuning in for the first time will also be tuning in for the last time after that crap. The decision to bring in unqualified officials based on sex/race probably set the game back about as far as Clark advanced it this year. Stupid stupid decision.Officiating is not what lost this game. Everyone here bitches about it, but funnily enough no one has ever—EVER—said the Hawks have been on the upside of officiating.
So by that logic you all think that the only team that’s ever gotten screwed, ever, in the history of Hawkeye basketball is the Hawks. That kind of hubris is right up there with flat earth.
LSU was the better team tonight.
We must be watching a different game.Iowa committed tons of fouls Friday night that didn’t get called. Why were you not starting post about that?
Never said that, and yes LSU was better.....but the officiating was a factor....Iowa was on a role and got it to 7 when the officials decided to hamper Iowa's stars. LSU may have still won the game....the little guard and the girl with the yellow hair were on fire....but it would have been nice to see what would have happened without the bullshit from the officials.Officiating is not what lost this game. Everyone here bitches about it, but funnily enough no one has ever—EVER—said the Hawks have been on the upside of officiating.

I have little doubt she would also flip the kids off at the Kinnick Wave were she ever there for it. She would probably find a way to play the lack of respect card there as well.
The tech was the worst. But calling 2 offensive fouls like that when you aren't calling the defender getting all handsy on her almost seemed like an agenda was playing out. I'm so torn 50/50 on whether the officials were just out of their league or they had an agenda.I have no issue with any part of the officiating except the Clark T.
The game itself, it was evident by the second quarter they were calling it tight because it was moving too fast for them and they were afraid of losing complete control over it.
But to T Caitlin up after all the crap they were letting Kim Izzo get away with on the bench? Sorry, wrong, wrong, wrong.
If Clark's T was by the book, then Mulkey should have been shown the door before halftime. She wasn't just repeatedly put of the box, she was physically impeding the official as she was trying to do her job.
Someone from the NCAA officials (not sure the actual position) that was at the game said it was for delay of game. We had already had our warning.Watched a lot of video of the T, certainly wasn't egregious, didn't really look intentional to the point of making the ref's look bad, if anything, the ball flip was frustration and nothing more should be read into it.
I don't know the rule, but the announcers made it sound like the NFL rule. You can challenge it but it will cost you a time out if you're wrong.Does anyone know the rule that allowed the LSU coach to challenge the elbow on Monica, I didn’t know that was a thing? A coach can ask but can they run out on the court and demand it? Bluder couldn’t even talk to the refs.
