Everytime I mention something before it's "linked by a credible source" it gets questioned and sometimes ridiculed and honestly half the time I just sit on it cause I don't enjoy dealing with it everytime. Guess it boiled over. Sorry if you took it personal. Not intended...

Here's my take ...
I'm with patmyne with respect to the fact that no "official" word has been floated to the Iowa coaches and/or recruiting personnel yet.
However, we have to remember that Law is working the "players end" of things here. Thus, he'd know if Lomax or Hendy are close to making a decision yet.
Thus, my guess are that Lomax and/or Hendy are the most likely candidates of late.
While I still think that Iowa has pretty decent chances of landing Cooper ... I don't think that we'll find out about that until signing day.
I still think that landing CyKo is a long shot ... however, in my eyes, that's pretty much an "upgrade" from considering him previously as an absolute 'Bama lock.

With Lomax de-committing today, does it mean Lomax, Cooper, and CyKo from DeMatha are coming to Iowa? The planets are aligning.
I dunno with him now taking a visit to MI right now when they just started to recruit him, maybe he is looking for something more than Iowa is providing $$$

Given that the guys will all be playing in the secondary ... I think that the odds of landing the trio of Law, Hendy, and Lomax may actually be decent.
I'm not as certain about Cooper. However, the fact that he's not in a hurry ... and the fact that Iowa isn't trying to rush him (as far as I can discern) ... I think that that could potentially bode well for the Hawks. I still don't think that landing Cooper is "automatic." I frankly think that Georgia Tech could be a bigger player for his services than many folks believe. Atlanta is probably an attractive geography for Cooper and the Georgia Tech DC has a great resume (former Virginia head coach). I still give Iowa probably around a 40% chance of landing him ... but I certainly wish that my "gut" felt more confident about our chances.
As for Cyrus ... I think that the big "issues" for him concern creating a name for himself, exploiting national exposure, AND getting placed in the NFL (in a high round). Iowa obviously can take care of some of those issues ... however, all the hype surrounding the two schools in Alabama could potentially be tough to overcome.

Pat - a 10% success rate (2 of 20 recruits) can be accomplished through educated guessing. Most assumed, for example, that French would pick Oregon and Price would ultimately go to O$U, just based upon their comments. Hopefully the people who pay $10 a month for premium memberships can make better educated guesses than the rest of us. That said, all info is appreciated, whether it comes from a source or an educated guess, after reading all the info on the Internet.
