Did the 2014 loss to a very bad ISU team refocus KF and coaches??

Hate to say this, but with their new coach, "Little Brother' has grown up and pretty much looking us eye-to-eye now. I still believe Campbell is an amazing coach. Certainly better 'game coach' than KF. We have been lucky to beat him. That won't last. I really hope he somehow leaves there soon.

Funny when we win because of turnovers, etc it is luck but we lose to a Wisconsin or Northwestern because of turnovers (see last year) it is just shitty coaching by KF. Got it.

Shoot, how about Nebraska? That was one of the proudest and best brands in all of NCAA football. They appear on the right track now, but have literally gone through 2 decades of absolute mediocrity while 90,000 fans look on stunned. I agree that things could be much worse....

That four-year luck streak has been awesome.
All I’m saying is this is the BEST 3 or 4 years (talent wise, and victory-wise), in the HISTORY of ISU football (even when compared to Mccarneys 5-year victory run over us).

That being said, ISU easily has the WORST ‘history’ of any P5 school. They certainly have more marquee victories than us in last couple years.

Thrilled we won, but worried about strides that program is making. I know it makes us look better if ISU keeps winning, provided we beat them. But we certainly aren’t beating them the way Fry did.

That 2014 was the worst loss in KF's tenure. I know he's lost to directional michigan a couple times, but all those teams were better than that awful Iowa St team IMO.
