Did Kirk Force DJK To Wear A Garbage Can On His Head?

This guy really needs attention....still....

The fact that he's still talking about this 7 years after the fact only confirms what a pain in the ass he must have been at the time. He played because he was talented. If Kirk really had it in for him, he wouldn't have played. Being busted for his involvement with drugs, beyond weed, didn't do him any favors with the draft. While good, my guess is he wasn't good enough to be worth the headache to NFL teams. Maybe he look in the mirror instead of using the mirror for something else.

And wasn't DJK from the same town or high school as the Stoops brothers? Or am I confused about this? I think he was from a big time Ohio high school and OSU passed on him as a partial qualifier, and a lot of other teams did too.

Okay, edited, I looked it up and DJK went to the same high school as the current owner of the San Francisco 49ers and Bo Pellini.

Jokes aside, the one guy I'd like to here from, a guy who actually did get treated unfairly, one Marcus Coker. I'd like to get his thoughts on this.

OSU only had room for 1 more WR and it was between DJK and Ray Small. They took Ray Small and had a lot of problems with Ray and not much production on the field. He's currently serving a 4 year prison sentence for drug trafficing.

Nope, but I still think Coker got raw deal, from what I gleaned. The guy donated a lot of time from day one, visiting I'll and disabled kids in the hospital, was a model teammate and a good student.

I remember the accusation being withdrawn, but the admin still dismissed him.

But no, we don't know what happened. Just seemed like a rough deal, given what was known. Based on that, I feel for the kid.

Not that I was a big fan of KOK (certainly appreciate him more now), but how Coker was treated was the impetus for him to jump to the NFL. Dude was mad as hell about how Marcus got railroaded by the administration...
