Did Anyone Notice KF Run After a Ref?

They thought the ball was tipped, and if so, no penalty...

If this is truly the case then I guess there was a rule change I wasn't aware of. Again, I didn't think penalties were reviewable. How is that any different than the refs missing an obvious hold or PI call? You can't go back and look at those again.

On the 2nd two point conversion, Iowa should have changed the play once they saw the ball wasnt being moved from the center. There just wasnt enough room to sprint right with the QB and make that play with where the official set the ball. The other problem is Iowa was down to their last timeout due to the officials error and probably would have had to use the last timeout to change personnel and get the right guys in the game. Just a really bad sequence for the officials there.

1. Good for Kirk. I was convinced Mary had him neutered years ago. Good to see he still has a pair.
2. Despite his pair, he runs like a menopausal senior citizen.
3. I bet that quick comment to the ref after the game was Kirk saying sorry for yelling at him.
4. Did you see the classy Wisconsin fan flipping off the abc camera every time it rolled over head? What a puke. Parents have to be so proud.

I was at the game. When replay began looking at the roughing the kicker penalty we were really surprised. I sit with a bunch of people who have been around football since it was invented, and no one had heard of replay reviewing a penalty. I was also listening to the radio broadcast and Dolph and Ed said the same thing...they didn't know a penalty was reviewable.I don't know if it is reviewable or not, but in this situation they reviewed it anyway.Only targeting is reviewable, but that is to determine if it the player should be ejected from the game. That is an automatic review.
The people you sit with are dumb and don't know a lot about football, then.

They did move the ball to the left hash… After they erroneously charged us a timeout.

This was a fail on the officials behalf. And it cost us a chance to get the ball back and play for the win!

I honestly believe he had Mary on the headset and she asked him what he wanted for dinner, and he clearly says, "I feel like tuna casserole."

How was the TO "erroneously charged?" The other option was a 15 yard unsportsmanlike flag on KF for being in the middle of the field, pushing our 2 point play back to the 18. We actually got lucky that they only charged us with a TO.
