Did anyone hear the Reggie Evans Comparison

During the Michigan/Minnesota game? The announcer compared Trevor Mbakwe to Reggie Evans, with more talent...What a joke, we will see how long Trevor can stay in the NBA, or will he end up in jail with his history?
I do think they are similar, but I think Evans is much more athletic than Mbakwe, time will tell I guess.

I never thought Reggie was all that athletic. Doesn't matter though, Dode's making a living that many would love to make.

I don't know anything about Trevor's history (we all need to grow up) but after watching him against us, and then in the Michigan/Minny game before we played IL, he looked very strong. He had a monster dunk against MU that was clearly NBA style. Then again Brommer nailed a nice one left handed in the paint too.

Trevor has never grabbed a opponents private area during a game, until then he'll never be Reggie Evans!

I would disagree that Evans is a better athlete... he just stayed within his limits a lot better. Mbakwe is very athletic, just tends to try and do more than what his abilities are.

I think it's clear Mbakwe has more upside than Reggie, which is exactly what the announcer said. I think it's a great analogy.

Hard to know who the real Mbakwe is. On one hand there is a public perception that is not glowing and on the other is the image portrayed on The Journey of him spending time with sick kids in the hospital. We love Reggie because he was a Hawk, but I can guarantee we would have loathed him had he played for another team. Mbakwe will get at least one nice contract in the NBA and it doesn't take much to hang around for a few years when you are his size.

A poster on Insider says Reggie has a younger brother that Iowa is supposed to be looking at. Anyone know about him ? Didn't see any Evans listed on database.

Reggie knew how to use his body better than Mbakwe does. Mbakwe is the better athlete of the two but he will have to learn how to use it a tad better

This brother would be twenty one now so it must be a younger brother.

I think we are looking at Jamar Evans .
