It really depends on who else ends up offering him. As of now, we are apparently his favorite. If a team like Nova were to offer though, you would think that could effect things quite a bit. The last I heard he isn't planning on deciding until October though.

I never liked our chances with Randall or Uthoff. I like our chances with Coleman.

Bingo. If he gets any major offers from out East I think he will strongly consider staying there (I'd give us a 1:3 chance of getting him in that scenario). If no major programs offer I think he's ours but I think him waiting til October shows he's waiting for other offers.

Nova has already gotten a commit from a 4-Star SG from New York and a 4-Star PG/SG from New Jersey, so I feel pretty comfortable that they won't offer Devin Coleman.

I got the feeling from reading other interviews that Iowa is always in his back pocket in case something else better does not come along. I like what I've read about him, but I don't think we're in the spot to wait for anyone.

Agreed I wouldnt feel comfortable if any big east school offered.
