Ofcourse recruiting a Juco QB did, do you think the coaches would have recruited him if they thought moving Derby back to QB would work? I wish AJ the best either way, but it is obvious he didn't have what it took in our coaches eyes to stay at QB.

That is the plan right now. He didn't meet SEC qualifying requirements. Now, perhaps Malzahn might find a very creative way to get him on campus, but even ASTATE fans aren't optimistic it can be done.

What's the rule as far as transferring from a big ten school to a cc then back to a different big ten school? Can you get a scholarship to a big ten school then? Not saying Derby may, or even really care if he does, just always been curious if that was loophole around that rule.

on a side note, I remember watching he and Eric may in hs. both were great athletes but may was the superior qb. he was a unique qb talent.
