Depth Chart for Wisconsin Game

Always interesting to see what's moving around. A couple of things that I haven't noticed...has Banwart always been the #2 behind Daniels at center. Young kid...that's pretty impressive.

I also noticed no Hockaday? Wasn't he on the field yesterday?

I'm actually surprised to see Rastetter still on the roster. I think he called the final fake punt on his own. That's going to leave a mark in the eyes of KF...then the quick TD after. I'm sure KF is saying, we were saving that for when we really needed it...but thanks for doing it when we are up 31 with 4 minutes left. He was pissed.

I've been curious of Banwart as well. I don't think he's played much if at all, but if he's on the 2 deep as a red freshman and if Daniels sticks around for his senior year, I imagine Banwart might be pretty good 2 years from now.

If it would have been actually called, the guy that tackled him would have been blocked, resulting in a 1st down.

He said on his postgame show with Dolph and Eddie (partly/mostly in jest), "Yeah, I had some words for him on the sideline. I'll more words with him later, too."

I know Spencer Williams (RS FR I'm pretty sure) was listed as the back-up at C previously. I'm also surprised to see no Jack Hockaday. It looks Aaron Mends overtook him? Maybe he hasn't been 100% healthy lately. I don't know.

That's just one of those deals where he was lucky it happened in the situation it did... Any closer of a game and it's just about an unforgivable sin... I bet ya he don't have the balls to do it again that's for sure. That said wouldn't it be great if against Wisky at their place the first punting situation we have KF calls it... Nothing would surprise them or us more than that.

I read his lips, “I’ll just head to the bus now” and started to walk away from KF who then grabbed him by his jersey and said, “Yu ave sum ‘splay nun to do.”

Welch overtook Hockaday. Mends overtook Amani Jones.

Thank ya. Had 'em switched around.

While of course it's going to be hard to replace 3 multi-year starting LB's, I do like the talent we have waiting in the wings. There should be some good competition for those starting spots next season.

Isn't Hockaday a guy they see as able to play all 3 spots? I know they burned his RS in 2015 to get him some experience on special teams.

Says a lot about Welch that he was able to overtake the heir apparent to Jewell.

I've asked Rob before but I didn't get a response about Lucas Legrand. What ever happened to him? He was a back up center.
