I was there that fine day; the pictures you posted are entirely accurate! Worth a thousand words.

If I were the AD, I would be softening expectations, not raising them.

Bottom line, they gotta own Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, Minnesota and a greatly improving Purdue first. They were 2-4 in the division last year, and were blown out in the Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa games by huge margins.

If Frost goes 4-2 in the division this fall, he should be coach of the year (but of course that won't satisfy the rabid Nebraska fan base).

I've had deja vu for a couple days now about all this. I thought jeez old man, you are losing it. I've posted and deleted several comments, because what I was trying to say just wouldn't come out right.
I hit on experience. But that didn't cover the whole story.
I hit on, this has been tried before. Which might have spurred the deja vu, but really how do you explain or put into words a feeling, a vision?
I looked at it from every angle and no words could fully express my thoughts.
Granted my thoughts can be scattered bits and pieces, but I think most people's are. Bits and pieces of information and experiences. I read and study A LOT!!
They just tend to say stupid stuff, that doesn't make sense to anyone else until they put all the pieces together. If they ever do.
To slay the beast of deja vu is not a talent many have, and even fewer develop or use.
So I'm just going to leave this here. Since I couldn't say it any better.

Sounds like stuff a wrestler says before a WWE event about his opponent. Or Mayweather-McGregor crap.

What an embarrassing quote.

The lack of self awareness from not only their AD now but their fan base the last 10-15 plus years is pretty entertaining. I'm glad they are all so far out there with their mindset on things. It makes how they've been toiling in mediocrity (that's putting it nicely lately) that much more entertaining for me. They're closer to becoming a basketball school like Kansas than they are competing with OSU or Michigan for football domination geez.

They should be better....in the same way that Jimmy put some toughness back in to UM - eliminated T/Os. I expect that kind of improvement from UM.

They'll be better

Will they content? I duno.

Is Nebraska's ceiling higher than Iowa's Iron ceiling?

Bill Moos: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
I get that he is trying to hype up the boosters, but wow.
Like I said, I knew I had seen this before.

Second verse same as the first.

It's not enough that he supplies MI and tOSU with some terrific bulletin board material but he also plays each of them on the road this year.

N is for knowledge and Bill seems to qualify.

@74Hunter, where are you?

Normally I wouldn't even reply, because it was a fairly meaningless comment.

Was is silly? Certainly.

It's odd (sarcasm) that y'all cherry picked the comments and left out these quotes:

"In a text message to the Associated Press, Moos said his comments about Ohio State and Michigan were “a bit tongue and cheek.”

“Meant to point out that the competition is aware that there's a renewed energy at Nebraska and we aim to get back in the hunt,” Moos told the AP.""

This wasn't a "press conference," it was held at the "Press Club" which includes many different people: press, boosters, fans, etc. Moos got a lesson here, even though this was more of a fan/booster function, he can't say things like this in front of the bottom feeding scum that work at the Omaha World Herald.

Stupid that he said it, but much ado about nothing.

Even the Harbaugh reference is delusional. Michigan is no longer a factor. Nebraska should be worrying about Dantonio, Chyrst and Ferentz.
That's the thing. He just mentioned two guys(just because they are "fellow bluebloods") who probably don't give a F about Nebraska, and totally ignored teams in their own division. Dumb statement for a team that went 4-8 last year.

But this is Nebraska, and championships are their birthright, you know.

Too many Nebraska fans hoping for a quick fix and they don't even have a quarterback yet. Not to mention their Big Ten schedule is brutal. I have to wonder what they have left when they play Iowa.
