No no not at all. We lost that game as a 3 seed because Alford does not know how to rest players and of course as always, we had depth issues. We ran into a brick wall and fell flat on our face. We dominated that game and built a 17 point lead. This team here tonight just hasn't played anybody. Sorry RPI.
I'm sure the Hoosier Hairdo will use the skills he exhibited to earn his third MWC Coach of the Year honors to settle his guys down at halftime and get them back in the game.
Yet one more reason to cheer against Hair-Gel. My daughter comes running upstairs telling me to turn on the Harvard game, Siyani Chambers is playing! Harvard's starting PG was her classmate last year at Hopkins, he was over for a BBQ last summer.
Alford is as bad a coach as they come when he's favored. This is NW STate all over again. Keeps it close, can't make free throws. Almost funny if it weren't so sad.
It's looking like my only loss today will be this one. I'm torn between the satisfaction of seeing Alford flop yet again (not to mention seeing the MWC lose another team in the first round), and leaving myself the chance at a perfect bracket for the first time ever after the first day.
