it has improved thru 5 games there has been just 1 opponent break 60 points and that was 61, the low point was 36 points,
rebounding is up to 42 rpg and is #37 in the country after 5 games
with Woody getting 5.6 rpg and Gabe avg 3 rpg in limited play. both are also avg'ing 1 bpg by Gabe and 1.2 bpg by Woody
as for scoring they are still avg'ing 70.6 ppg as a Team

As weird as this is to say, I think defense could be this teams calling card. They have a different attitude about it this year compared to the last few years. The press can cause some fits, and the on ball defense by Clemmons and Gesell make guys dribble to no man's land and throw passes to invisible teammates. Add in the height of Woody down below to make what used to be an easy layup into a forced shot and you have a team that is signifantly better at defense than it was a year ago. Only time I really see us struggling is when we face a decent team at shooting the 3. That will stretch us out and create holes in our D.

Hahaha! Still can't let ol' Gabe go, huh? Why did you even bring him up when 7 other people on the team are currently averaging the same or more rebounds? Don't answer that; we already know the answer.
