You are supposed to be the anti-Kirk/KOK and keep the hammer down. Why in the world did you go into the slow down and watch the lead dwindle? While we may miss football season we don't need the bball offense to play like the football offense. Please keep the offensive tempo up and the score rolling.
 


at the time i agree with fran if you look at wisconsin offense they are not usually up tempo its the heat of the moment i think we would all have done that as coach! ya you wanna keep the game going and not go away from your style but you also dont wanna give them 2-3 more shots then they would get by running some clock!

Because when you limit possessions with a big lead you can not make a single shot and still win the game. Iowa proved that tonight. No made shots, plus a couple ridiculous mistakes (Marble's 5-second call), and they still won despite a buzzer-beating three from Taylor. Works for me.
 


the end of the game went almost as bad as it could have possibly gone and they still didn't have enough time to win. if we would have played a quicker pace, things could have went way less bad and we still could have lost. if way less bad makes any sense

You might want to learn the first thing about basketball before you embarrass yourself by making a completely ridiculous critique of someone who has 25 years of coaching experience. Slowing it down was a no brainer, only an idiot would say otherwise.
