We know what Desmond King, Jordan Lomax & Greg Mabin bring to the table, but who after that from the following:

Malik Rucker
Miles Sullivan-Walk On
Omar Truitt
Sean Draper
Marcel Joly
Anthony Gair
Joshua Jackson
Miles Taylor
Kevin Ward-Walk On
Maurice Fleming
Brandon Snyder-Walk On
Jake Gervase-Walk On
Solomon Warfield
Jalen Embry

I would guess that Gair will be first in line to take 37's spot with Miles Taylor as the top backup for both Safety spots. Fleming and Draper next in line at CB. Actually might be a decent group.

If their LBs show some progress and they can find a DE, Iowa might have a D that looks a little bit more like we're used to seeing.

I am going out and predicting that Brandon Snyder will be a starting safety next fall.

I won't be shocked by this at all, and I think it would play out much more like a Brett Greenwood/Derek Pagel/Sean Considine-type story than a Tanner Miller-type story.

Snyder has had a great fall. He has won scout team player of the week multiple times including stepping in at QB the week of the Purdue game

You know we lose a couple really good Dee Tackles with decent backups who dont have a lot of experience.

He's a terrifically gifted athlete. I was told that when he sat out a season of track a couple years ago due to a very serious ailment that nearly cost him a leg, he joined the golf team, and he placed 7th at state that year. He was also class valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. Just one of those kids that seems to excel at whatever he decides to do.

Johnson and Ekakite have been getting a pretty fair amount of PT this year and have looked good when they've been in there. They won't be LTP and Davis right out of the gate, but I feel pretty good about DT next year (at least the starters; not sure what the depth will look like).

Don't sleep on Cooper, either. He was ahead of both Johnson and Ekakatie before his injury this year. He should be hungry for his final season on campus.

I think having 2 very experienced Corners, in Dez King and Greg Mabin, plus
Lomax returning is pretty da** Solid

I'll go with Maurice Fleming as my pick to take John Lowdermilk's spot at Safety.
Mo Fleming is getting on the field more and more, I've noticed.

The return of Coop, plus Jaleel, Bazata and Faith progressing, makes me think we will
replaced Carl and LTP better than most expect.

I think Miles Taylor was the guy off the bench when Lowdermilk had to miss a couple plays this week. So Taylor is my pick to start next year.
