Daviyon Nixon: 'I just can't wait to get to Iowa'

Well, Reese can coach him up on technique...which he will do, but you can't coach up natural size like this kid has. I can't wait to watch him in a year. He's going to be a monster in a year or two. AJ, A. Nelson, Lattimore, and Nixon...those are some big boys with some serious upside. In two years...thats going to be a "Monsters of the Midway" front four.

Then think about what's on the other side of the ball. 320lb offensive tackles and alot of great recruiting classes on OL in the last two.

Now if we can just get our offense to find a way to score 20+ a game so that defense doesn't have to do it all by themselves.

Yes, a consistent 24-28 a game would be nice.

I'd be happy with a consistent 20-24 points a game if it meant we weren't racking up 66 yards of total offense one night with a 500 yard performance shortly after. Any kind of consistency is appreciated.

Agree with this, someone earlier had noted Iowa averaged 25 a game this year, with games but with games in the 40s-50s and in the 10s. If they had just scored what they averaged for each game, they would have been 10-2 this year (losses to ISU and Wisconsin). I'd trade a loss to ISU for a 10-2 record.
