Daviyon Nixon 5 BIG Questions??????

Once U of I jettisoned the College of Underwater Crafting, the phrase, "The Right Way", reemerged to its rightful prominence.
You will remember some of the classes they did have to help keep football players eligible. One of the more popular, among football players, was an evening class called "The Composer-Improvisor In You." It was about as challenging as the course title suggested. If you could find Hancher Auditorium every Tuesday night from 7-9:30 you were pretty well set.

Understood, but I thought I read that multiple players that made the trip didn't play in the game.

Anyways, what about the N. Illinois game?

The Northern Illinois game was arguably not settled until the Hawks took a 24-0 lead early in the 4th qtr. After that point, there were 31 more offensive or defensive plays (15 off, 16 def). I don't know what the snap counts were for the game, but I'd be more concerned at getting the players that I know may have to fill in for somebody at some in the season as opposed to a tFreshman that I'm redshirting or someone like Dixon who I'm not sure was even eligible. In regards to giving redshirt players playing time, I would think that coaches evaluate them at practice throughout the season as a member of the scout teams and then see what they feel like the players can contribute as the season goes on. That sort of evaluation would be incomplete by Week 1. What if it's just obvious that the guy can play by Week 1? In that case, the guy probably isn't redshirting.

Having lived in one of the fraternities directly across the river, I can so certify.
