He took it out of the case, polished it for them, carried out over to their sideline, and got told by Chryst to be a dear and load it on the bus. Which he promptly did, cleaned and gassed up the bus too while he was there. At which point Kirk scratched him behind his ears and told him to be a good boy and go help the equipment boy load the gear. What a turd
