I'm sorry, but I don't much give a rip about "RPI Top XXX" wins when it comes to the mid-majors. Those guys have been playing that system for years. Davidson's supposed Top 100 RPI wins are as follows:

Dayton
VCU
Richmond
LaSalle (2)
George Washington (2)
UMass
Rhode Island

Of those 9 wins, only two, Dayton and VCU, are NCAA Tourney teams.

Iowa's Top 100 RPI wins are as follows:

North Carolina
Ohio State (2)
Maryland
North Dakota State
Michigan
Minnesota
Illinois
Indiana

Of those 9 wins, 6 came against NCAA tourney teams.

The level of competition isn't even close.

Looks to me like their quality wins would compare favorably against the quality wins of PSU and NW. That's enough to give me more than a little concern.

Davidson will be bombing 3's the entire game. As long as Iowa doesn't try to match them, they will be fine.

With their tallest player at 6'4" Hawks should pound them at the rim.

Probably not him, but White, Gabe, and the Sleetah should be able to get plenty of work done inside. Davidson has a punchers chance because they can shoot. That scares me a little, but the Hawks should win.

Were you hoping we would get matched up against a team worse than PSU and NW? It's the NCAA tournament, all non automatic qualifier teams are good. You could go down the line of all teams and compare them to their worst loses and be a little concerned. Hell Wisconsin is a 1 seed and the team they are playing is probably as good as their worst loss.

Penn State is actually a decent team who struggled to finish. They are better than several teams in this field. NW? No, they are horrible and I still can't believe we ever lost to those purple clowns.

This game has a weird vibe to me. I'm completely confident (not that I think we're a shoo in winner) but lots have us picked to lose. I'm trying to figure out ways were going to beat Gonzaga and I'm not seeing it but suppose I should worry about that later.
