Can Joe Buck & Troy Aikman really be the best that Fox Sports can come up with to cover big NFL playoff games? Did anyone hear Joe Buck BUTCHER the running in to the punter call in the 2nd half. Joe maybe should stick to a simpler sport, like tiddley-winks? :rolleyes:

Thunder: Did you notice how many of the mouths on ESPN were ****-sure that the 'Cowboys were playing dominant football'? What for like 2 weeks late in the season.

That's why I made money on the Vikingss :)

Dean - he was so bad on that call that I was starting to wonder about my own football knowledge. That was brutal, so brutal I can't believe Aikman at some point in time didn't jump in to rescue him, but maybe Aikman was suffering the same thing I was at the time....
 
One of my Cowboys friends called me after the game whining about how the NFL should switch to a series type of playoffs since "the game today was a fluke" and the Vikings don't deserve to go on in the playoffs because the "Cowboys would beat them 9 out of 10 games" LOL
 
I normally can't stand it when a coach runs up the score. Except when it comes down to this year's Cowgirls. Miles Austin danced like a junior high cheerleader everytime he got a first down all season. Glad he got it back in his face today. Karma. What goes around comes around.
 
I am a Cowboys fan, but I don't think you can really run up the score in the NFL. The players are getting paid, so the Boys should have stopped them if they didn't want them to score.

Running up the score is a fallacy. The offense has a job: Put points on the board. The defense has a job: Prevent points from being put up on the board.

The ONLY instance where one can be accused of unsportsmanlike activity in "running up the score" is going for points when taking a knee will win the game. That is bush league. Everything else is fair game.
