Dale Jones Returning

The last game he played before the latest injury, he didn't look great. Hope he comes in and makes a difference now.

With his outside shooting ability I think he can contribute but with Krieners productivity and with Pemsl and Cook solidifying there starting spot and minutes it leaves Uhl and Wagners minutes probably the most vulnerable.

I can't even remember seeing him on the floor, ever. Excited to see him play and pray he stays healthy!

Where do the minutes come from? I guess Uhl?

His ability to shoot the 3 ball would give Iowa the ability to play with three forwards, so his minutes could come from a few guys actually. He can help us with rebounding as well.

I think Kriener's minutes are the most likely to go to Jones. He's given us some nice minutes the past two games, but he's pretty slow and I think the Hawks need more athleticism and experience out there in Big 10 play.

I agree. It was fun as hell watching him drill shots. But he killed us on rebounds and defense. I swear he lose five 70/30 balls. As in he had a 70% chance to get it and they had a 30% chance.

Sure won't hurt anything having him back. Outside Cook and Kriener nobody else on the front line has been tearing it up exactly...

If he can add STOCK to the success of this team I am going to start calling him DOW instead of Dale. :D

Need a big guy who can shoot. He has most potential of all our big guys. Hopefully he can come back

Was throwing bricks today, but he's a huge physical presence, has a clean looking shot, and I could tell by how fast Jok was getting him the ball that Jok is confident in what he can do.

His second shot wasn't a brick. He missed the rim by about three feet. Worst shot I've seen since McCabe shot the potential game tieing 3 against Wisconsin and it only made it halfway there.
