NCAA Rankings - D1 College Wrestling

Last edited:
Didn't realize how young Iowa was this year.

Too bad Montell Marion messed up and got kicked off the team. He is definitely needed this year.

pin dont forget about Grant Gambrall #11 at 184, might want to bold his name.

I know this is just pre-season rankings and they really mean nothing when it comes down to wrestling the matches but this should be some good motivation for the team. If they even look at these types of things.

Very young team it will fun to look at these ranking again in March.

How many days are left til wrestle offs, I need a fix in a bad way. :)

Hawks are very young - if Iowa challenges for league and finishes top 10 NCAA the future looks incredible!

Looking forward to the season.

pin, Look for DSJ,Lofthouse, and Moore to have similar years to Matt's last year. Really look for DSJ to break out. Gambrall has the talent to also be included in this list but 184 might be the deepest weight next year. So that's why he is not included on this list.

That's not realistic. Metcalf and McD type freshman years are very rare. With DSJ, Lofthouse, Moore and Gambrall three out of four claiming AA would be awesome, four out of four is the most we could dream of. None are NC calibur this year.

OSU was 10 points out of 3rd place last year with a similar young lineup; plus we have a returning NC and others with experience. I like our chances to meet and exceed your expectations.
