Cyrus Kouandjio Article

I would like to see Cyrus play at Iowa. But I am also realistic. Ever since the Cam Newton stories have come out, it has been implied in various articles and sports reports as cash for services is nothing new in SEC, and some even implied standard operating procedure. So I think Iowa is a long shot in competing with Auburn and Alabama.

I saw an article saying Nick Saben is known for his crossing the line on NCAA regs. One example was a recruit he wanted, may have been Barry Sanders kid. It was a closed recruiting period, but he obviously wanted to talk to the kid before OSU got any closer. So he goes to the kids school in OK to pick up some papers on the kid. Could have had them mailed but he flies down in person to pick them up. He calls the coach ahead of time, telling him he is coming. The coach tells the kid, so he wants to at least say hi to Saben so they 'bump' into one another in the coaches office while it is supposed to be a no contact period.

That said, I hope I am proven wrong. But we are up against the SEC on this one.

I dont know about every one else but I dont compare many places to home unless I really like it and just because his brother plays at bama does not mean he wants to.

Thought this was funny in the sense that you can over analyze what a person says.

On Iowa... "The (Iowa) coaches, I clicked with a lot."

On what school he wants to go to... "I want them to have a coaching staff that I click with."

Cyrus, by your own logic, Iowa is the only choice for you!

Still probably going to go to Alabama, though :). Can't blame him if he does.

Have you read CyKo's Facebook page? Bama and Auburn fans make me sick! Haha

It could actually be a good thing that he mentions Iowa last, twice. Kind of like the top of the pyramid, no?
