There can't be a Hawkeye fan that is surprised by the outcome of this game. Everyone knew the Hawks wouldn't be shooting any free throws. The Hawks were going to need to shoot at least 50% from the field to overcome the disparity of the free throws and they shot 40.58%. Once again the Hawks were out rebounded 44-39. The days of Megan are long gone but good grief can't we ever learn to box out. Tired of hearing about that's what happens when you play zone. Hawk fans our team usually starts off slow and by the time the tourney gets here we are hitting on all cylinders.
Tip my cap to the Clo--- because they did what they had to do to win. Ashley is an outstanding player. One of the good things about Ashley is she's from Iowa City and not lames. Can Ashley finally make it to the Sweet 16 or will B.F. screw it up again?
