Cy Ko - Auburn

TOS and ESPN are reporting that Cy Ko is visiting Auburn on the 28th. Auburn is the "enemy" of his brothers team (Alabama). If he is willing to play against his brother, then his brother being on Alabama's team is not that big of a recruiting draw. I think Iowa has an equal shot at landing this 5* recruit.
 
i know its obvious but they will not be playing against each other. who wants to go to auburn? (a more thorough investigation pending), alabama? (what if you are not that close with your brother?), USC? (if seantrel wasn't sold enough to stick through their suspension, why would CK want to go there now?) New Mexico? (please), Iowa? now that would not only make big time news - but i could shine even amongst "average" lineman that are lined up next to me. I mean I think that Reiff is great, but was still sketchy at times this year and is already projected top 15 in 2012. I think CK would walk in already projected top 10 for 2014, this kid is going to punch our ticket to the BCS title game. mortgage the farm (legally) for him.
 
We have Blythe and Walsh. If CK signs with us our OL will be among the best in the country for the next 3 to 4 years. Success breeds more success.
 
Late news out of AZ is that Christian Westerman, another top-5 OT is likely Auburn bound (he has a press conference Friday and is a "soft verbal" to Texas, but will probably change the verbal). I wonder if that would affect CK's decision. You would think he would be confident in his own abilities enough to not be scared of the competition. Interesting thing is that Auburn has already shooed away other verbal commitments because they were "full" so I wonder if they would take both Westerman and CK. I am almost 100% certain they would, but there is a slight precedent there with Auburn this year.

A LT is punching your ticket to the title game? LOL......ok. OL is the hardest position to project to the college level from h.s and you have the kid as a top 10 pick in the 2014 draft? Wow.

That's all it takes obviously. A LT can cover a multitude of sins on both sides of the ball AND Special Teams.

Being investigated or not.....Auburn did just win the NC game.
