While it's nice to know we're still in consideration, I just don't have a good feeling about us getting this guy. Would seem like Georgetown, Wake, and GT have a bit of an edge at this point.

Personally, I don't feel as if Iowa will be able to land him. I hope I am wrong.

Agree, I think it will be tough for Iowa to land him, but the staff has known him for a while, so that does bode well. I am not sure Iowa has too much of a shot at any top 2011 kids, but can still get a very solid class. Basabe wasn't that hearalded, but they way everyone talks he is an All-American already, so more kids along the same lines that are under recruited is what I look for in the 2011 class and that is not a bad thing by any means. I would be estatic if they landed Oglesby, Katenda and Burke, what are the odds?
