We have seen this over and over again. Popcorn crowd not ever nor ever have expected any thing more from Kirk other than seven win seasons.

Yes, we win ten games or nine games but this was Kirk’s last change to get to a playoff. He is a better than average Big Ten coach but that’s all you can say.

Cade was a total bust against ISU. But let’s be honest. The play calling was embarrassing. How can they be 1st and goal around the five 2 different times in the 1st half. Each time they settled for a FG.

2nd half was even worse. Run,run incomplete pass then punt. That was almost every series.
That was Kirk “play calling with a lead” 101.

The difference between last week and this week play calling shows Iowa will be an embarrassment on offense until Kirk retires

If McNamara is honestly being evaluated as next weeks starter, the numbers speak for themselves.

Subjectively, he doesn't "look" good either. Bad mechanics - backpedaling away from oncoming rush and throwing off back foot. Bad decisions - throwing inexplicably to covered receivers, poor throws to open receivers.
Time for someone else to get some reps.

It's almost like our coaches deprogram them. We've had him and 3 4-star QB's in the last 6 years and they've done nothing. Watching them play (the ones that have actually played), they all look the same with the same results.
