The weather always feels better when you are drinking a beer as opposed to wearing pads and running

Also, if you arent in the sun how can you say the heat isnt a factor? The sun will be beating down on them during warmups

"Beating" down on them at 5:30? Hardly. Sun will be low in the sky by then. Sunset is at 6:26. The heat factor is being way overplayed.

Unless they are warming up at 5 not a problem sun sets at between 5:30 and 6:30 and it does feel better drinking beer for sure!! With setting sun and down by game time with proper hydration not an issue humidity is what really has an effect on people not used to it for sure. Just finished playing golf and felt better than playing golf and really was comfortable all day.

Ok, since the players have been addressing hydration all week, do i need to as well? I plan on getting ********* on saturday night.

Hydration is an issue. You won't notice that you are overheating because you won't really be sweating all that much. Just drink water along with your beer and you will be fine.

Heat will be an issue, but not to the extent everyone says. As long as they keep hydration in mind, things should be fine. We might see some guys cramp up, but hopefully it's not too serious.

This is a nice break for us, come back in July when its 115, it doesn't get below 100 at night. It is freaking hot down here.

But I read that Tucson is near all time record highs for this time of year. Maybe not as much of a break as one would hope for, huh?

I'm sure a night game will be fine. I'm not sure I'll want to go running at mid-day, considering it's around 101F now.

Kickoff Temp: 92 (Heat Index 89)
Halftime Temp: 88 (Heat index 86)
4th Quarter Temp:85 (Heat Index 83)

They should be fine IMO

Question for Arizona people... have you ever been to iowa when it is 90-100 out with high humidity? No humidity at 95 degrees feels better than 80 with high humidity. Heat will not be a factor...Iowa practiced in much worse heat over the summer

come on racer....i live at 6000 ft and in april had to go to orlando for a conference. left in 60 degrees, arrived in mid 90's and ran every day. while we rarely get to a 100 here summers routinely see mid to high 90's for a few weeks.....and i get out at noon every day and it still takes me a good half mile to break a sweat. i found it more difficult to run at the Bix 7 this year than about anyplace......you'll regret not running in tuscon.

agreed, and the dryness. dewpoint of 39 is crazy dry. weather is a factor when you aren't used to the conditions.

big up on the bix 7 ... I skipped this year on account of an ill timed vacation.

hawks will be fine.
