Cubs in KC (roll call)

The renovations are great ... great place to see the game, kids enjoyed the fun stuff for them behind the outfield ... also my kids had a blast running the bases after game Sunday ... good job Royals! I wonder how hard it will be to get tix to the 2012 All-Star Game in KC?

Note to Cubs mgmt: parking for a reasonable price within walking distance of the stadium is a nice touch.

That series was a huge win for the Royals. Only second time this season they sold out a game.
How stupid were the Royals for not joining the National League and getting Cub and Cardinal fans to buy their tickets 30 times a year?

Parking was the worst part of my experience. It probably took 20 minutes to get from the interstate exit (which was packed full and we had already passed a hundred cars) to our parking spot. I can't imagine how bad the bottleneck is for Chiefs games. I don't know what sort of public transportation KC has, but some sort of commuter train would go a long ways.

It's really not bad at all, you just have to know where you are going. The back ways have no traffic at all and take about 30 minutes less. Blue Ridge Cutoff FTW.

We got there about 1.5-2 hours before first pitch so never had issues finding a spot and didn't have any issues leaving either. We were parked on the west side of the stadium and it had pretty easy access to 435.

And how do you expect them to pull that off in a residential neighborhood? I would guess riding the red line to and from Wrigely is MUCH cheaper and just as convienent as parking at Kaufmann.

Taking I-70 to the Blue Ridge Cutoff is probably not the best way to go. There several other routes through the city that go around that congestion.
