saturday our beloved cubs hit their 20,000th game playing the chicago white sox of all places for this to go down.

cubs all-time record:
10,196 wins, 9,639 losses and 160 ties
 
Good, that will give them something to celebrate after loss number 9,643 (i'm assuming that saturday will be loss 4 out of the next 5 games).
 
Oh, I thought this was going to say 20,000th game of sucking and still going strong. ;) Hey I think i have a shirt idea in mind now!!!!

A mediocre team and franchise for over 100 years and still going strong!
 
ya 20k game thats cool, but those Dam Freakin Cubs- I'm at the point where i say TRADE EVERY1! get what u can and build for the future cuz this group aint gonna break the curse-

Yep, I agree. 2003 was their chance. They had all the parts that year and everyone was healthy and the jacked it up. It may be another 100 years until they have another chance!!
 
keep castro, colvin, marshall, marmol, cashner, soto, and a few others and trade the rest ... trade everyone over 30 ... they do have some good young talent to build around
 
This just in...the Cubs took time out of their very busy "sucking" schedule, to actually win a game against those amazingly good Mariners, who are obviously on their way to claiming the American League Pennant...way to go Cubs...
