I was there, seemed kind of average most of game. (our avg isn't bad)
really woke up on that wisky possession in the 4th and the next play was the Greenwood pik. Great noise again right up till fake punt, decent after that, but certainly a fall off. I know I about lost my voice yelling, "fake, fake fake!" They didn't hear me.
It wasn't REALLY loud until the 4th quarter. It wasn't quiet by any means though. But the 4th quarter was NUTS.
This.
My ears are still ringing. Of course that might be because the chick behind me screams like a banshee every third down on D.
I had a few Wisconsin students behind me in the student section. One was particularly obnoxious, loud, deep voice (sounded like he was 10 years older and 30 pounds heavier than he actually was), and knew what seemed like just one word: YEAH!!!!!!!!! Yelled it incessantly. I wanted to punch him so bad.
But I think Greenwood's pick was the loudest I've ever heard Kinnick. My top 3:
1. Greenwood's pick tonight
2. McNutt's 92-yard TD against Indiana (just when he broke away from that tackle)
3. Sash's INT of Darryl Clark to set up the game-winning drive against PSU (yes, louder than The Kick. I think everybody knew we were going to win after Sash made that play)
Sad thing is, I think everybody knew we would beat Wiscy tonight after Greenwood's INT too...
Are you out of your mind? The crowd was insane, especially in the 4th quarter.
Fourth quarter was louder, but where I was, I was constantly yelling at the people in front of me to stand up and yell!
I was at the game and most of it I thought the crowd was flat.
This.
My ears are still ringing. Of course that might be because the chick behind me screams like a banshee every third down on D.
If you sit in section 115, down low, that would have been me. Banshee yelling on third down is my specialty. Sorry.
134, row right out of the tunnel.
I don't mind it though. You get used to it after a while and it makes up for the people who don't do anything.
I have sitters in front of me that listen on the radio...whats the point?
