Crennel on Stanzi

Eh I knew that. Haha Tannehill doesnt count though he's a WR at heart. Must of stopped watching before Weeden got picked up

Still though Weedon or however you spell it is going on 30 and Tanny played half of his career at WR ....not exactly a great stock of QB after the first two.

Remember Roger Staubach? He came out at 28 after serving in the Navy and had a HOF career. Just saying.......................

I don't reckon the Chiefs will be happy if Brady Queff gets in there. The criticism out here Denver-way was he wasn't much of a leader. Some talent but the players didn't respond to 'em. Plus he's a Noder Daim Queffer.

TEX!! Whar the heckfire have you been?!? (Too) long time, no see.

No, you're wrong. You think if Stanzi was ready, the captains of the team would summon some pride and demand that they play him, rather than endanger thier bodies anld careers to facilitate a spat between le coach and gm?

If Tony M had been healthy, I'm sure he would have taken his jersey to le coach and demanded Ricky play.

Why, I've been on the trail with the dang cattle. I moved 'em from New Mexico to Montana. There ain't too many truckstops along the way. I needed the dang internet connection and the one's I stopped at didn't have dial-up. I lost two cattle-hands to malaria, lost a wagon wheel and three oxen when they drowned. What a dagone trip!

i should say that i have a relative (who is also a KC fan but not a college f-ball fan) in the KC area and apparently it was no so secret news that Haley and Pioli were almost always at odds. so much so that at the end it was almost a personal matter.
wouldn't surprise me if it was a jab at Pioli as Haley was acting like a crazy man at the end there, or maybe he was just pushing the envelope so he could get fired and move on with his life. who knows man?

Yeah, thats something that would happen in real life.

Stanzi was on and off the active roster a couple of times last year maybe he had some lingering injury and the risk vs reward of playing him was just to high in the risk department. I said in a post this winter if they don't draft a QB hes has to have as good a shot as Quinn to make number 2 and I still think that to be true. Stanzi is amazing at blocking out the bad and getting over it if he can keep that attitude in the NFL he should get his chance to start and playing behind Cassel whos bound to get banged up at some point shouldn't hurt. I do think they were about keeping him on the bench for a year after firing a coach there was a lot of stress and turmoil on the team and there was no reason to throw a rookie into the fire and have him fail. The Chiefs still had a chance to make the playoffs on week 17 too if I remember right.
