He can still recruit pretty well. That'll give him a decent gig somewhere.
 
Their AD was saying 'Indiana man this and Indiana man' that during his press conference. Some were saying he was openly courting Alford then pretty much. The ball is in Alfords court. If he wants it it's his. Is his youngest boy a senior? I think he is and if so what's holding him to UCLA? To me he's done his around the country tour and I bet he'd love to go home again for this stretch of his career. I don't know if the outcome of this tourney would have an impact on him wanting to go or not. He knows that if he goes home again and turns that program around he'd be a bigger God then he already is in that state. He'll NEVER be a god in LA. Just another rich guy and always on the hot seat. He'll have way more job security going home for awhile then he ever will in Westwood. I'd be pretty surprised if when it's all said and done that he's not coaching at Indiana next yr.
 
The more you examine it, the more sense it makes. His kids are finally done after this year, this will be his best UCLA team and the two guys most responsible are likely to go pro. (who knows what he did to recruit them...just sayin')

He's going to command big bucks, Indiana's AD will drop his shorts like Barta does for KFz.
 
Damn, I hope it's Alford! I'd go to Indiana/ Hawk games just to boo the little prick.

Crean is cashing a nice $4,000,000 paycheck and he will get a good gig soon, he's a decent coach.
