Crazy,GD's record when winning the big play and turnover battle. Then why??

One has to include, for example, long field goals made, 25 yards or less field goals not attempted/ 4th downs converted (would be 4th down on the 8 yard line), and time outs not used to ice the kicker to complete the win metric.....

The way I understood his criteria was this game would fall in neither category since he did not lose the turnover battle. It would be a little more interesting to know how well he did in those games that don't meet his criteria because that is where KF is shooting for, i.e. explosive plays are not in KF's criteria but turnovers are. So how did GD do when he won the turnover comparison but lost the explosive plays. I'm guessing but it would not surprise me if it's around .500.
Could one count a fumble recovery, a pass interception, or heaven forbid, a punt or kickoff return, or a blocked punt as an explosive play?

As long as a coach is creating the statistic, they can do anything they want. That's why I do not place much credence in most statistics because they can easily be spun to tell the story you want other people to hear. This statistic that GD gave the ESPN announcers was what I would consider an obvious statistic in the sense that you would not expect it to have many outliers, and it didn't, it was black and white. But as I said above, I think it was an attempt on GD's part to say that his hands have been tied in some fashion and this was a calculated way to get his story out to the public.

Maybe it's just me dreaming up a philosophical conflict between GD and KF but it's not very hard to imagine there may be some truth to it.
