I know that I have seen his name tossed out there to be a good amount of times to be a good replacement because of what he has done in a short amount of time with the Oregon St. program.

HOWEVER, if he ever did what happened there last night here in Iowa if he was our coach, many of you would destroy him.

I do believe that we have some of the greatest fans in all of college sports. As fans we are allowed to want the "best product to support" and unfortunately being great fans comes along with a sense of pride and arrogance that we are "entitled" to something, somewhat like always winning. This world is so enthralled with instant gratification and this fan base always wants to see that (so do I), so just realize that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Iowa basketball is at a 80 year low, if not all time. I doubt it has much to do with "always winning" or being "entitled". Some people are very proud of the Iowa basketball tradition, a top 20 program all-time and to see it absolutely dead in every aspect is troubling.
 
I don't understand the love some people show for this guy. He hasn't done a thing at Oregon State and the Pac 10 is horrible this year.

At home. I can't think of a time when I've ever seen a team lose that bad at home. Even when small schools invite the big schools into their gym they keep it within 30.
 
Oregon St was 0-19 in the Pac ten the year before he took over...and he took them to a post-season title in his first year..CBI. This year they are very young,but he has nice recruits in the pipeline.
