Don't you think if you play in a BCS conference and are undefeated, have played the strength of schedule Iowa has and their is only one other undefeated team you deserve a NC shot?
It doesn't matter what OSU or Penn State did in the Rose Bowl or NC, it is this year and this Hawk team.

Reminds me of 2002 when all the pundits were saying how Ohio State had no shot against Miami and the one loss USC team should be in the game instead of Ohio State. OSU won in overtime so I think history says give the undefeated team from the crappy Big Ten its shot over any one loss team.

The problem is so many people on tv and radio keep saying Iowa shouldn't get a shot at the NC because they play a weak schedule. Either they know the actual numbers and are lying to everyone for their own personal motives or they are really that ignorant and uneducated.
Iowa's SOS is on par with USC, better than Florida and Alabama's, and in a whole different league than Texas, Cincy, TCU, and BSU.

He's never seen Iowa play anyway, so his comment are regurgetations (sp?) from the rest of the media.
He sounds like a guy that KF turned down an interview to if you ask me. He was praising Iowa like crazy before the season started. Different story now from a guy who's feelings and ego are probably hurt.

Actually, you're combining Iowa and USC...USC had 2 losses, it was 1 loss Iowa who people were saying things in reference to Ohio State about, such as "In my opinion Ohio State's not even the best team in the Big10, they didn't have to play Iowa!"...stuff like that...then they won the title and USC rolled us up like a pothead with a baggy and a zig-zag...

just quit listening to this guy already. he and marty both went to the skip bayless school of broadcsting where all they want to do is get you all ****** off so you'll light up the phone lines or fill up the inbox. didnt they already take away an hour of his show when "out of bounds" went from 1 hour to 2? if you quit listening all together eventually he will completely be replaced by garmin, cotler and round guy. so if you want to be entertained and not frustrated i suggest turning the station to 1460 and listening to dp.

Cowherd is awesome. I love listening to him. He's right about us and we keep proving him wrong. Of course those other teams are better than us. But our TEAM keeps winning.
