I was just listening to Cowherd and he was making picks for this weekend. He said LSU over Oregon because LSU is great it big games. He said they are 5-1 in recent bowl games...i wonder who that 1 loss is from?

It was actually to Penn State in 09, Capital One bowl was 7 years ago.\

Wow, Im getting old

yes, everyone knows "recent" is 6 years.. not 7, where they would be 5-2 with the 2 Loses coming from the big 10, not 5 where they would be 4-1 which is still pretty good.

I imagine 6 years was the chosen time frame because that is how long Les Miles has been the coach at LSU.

I enjoy Cowherd. He looks at things from a different angle. Much better than milk-toast Mike&Mike.

Correct! I dont always agree with Cowherd and I think he's an idiot a lot of the time but at least he has an opinion and makes a point.

Mike & Mike is quite possibly the most pointless sports talk show of all time. They are brutal

I would listen to Cowherd from time to time back in Iowa and liked him enough to keep him on the radio. I don't always agree and he can be a bit overly provocative, but he does provide some interesting takes on things.

I moved to Connecticut last fall and Cowherd and I work out at the same gym. He's actually a really nice and friendly guy. Funniest thing is sometimes ESPN rebroadcasts Sports Nation when we are both at the gym and he watches himself. It's like an athlete watching film.

I didn't used to like Cowherd at all, but he's really grown on me in the past year and a half or so. Still not the guy that I would go to for college sports, but if I'm in the mood to hear about pro sports, he's one of the first guys that I'll tune in to.

SVP is my favorite, though.
