Countdown to tip off?

While the thought of it being a long season passed through my mind for almost 4 quarters yesterday. We are 1-0.

I for one, can wait until BB season. Football is short enough as it is and next Saturday, we get to go watch the Hawks play in Kinnick!
 
Kinnick should be hopin next week.... Should be an interesting game, as usual of late. We better get fired up... Why is it a KF team always starts slow???

When do pre-game bball scrimmages start?
 
New team, now coaches, Soldier Field, Vandy not in sync with receivers, however the D is playing very well, not unlike blocking two field goals in a row at the end of the game against UNI, and not unlike holding Syracuse in an 8 play goal line stand in the second ovettime. Perhaps this is the year we get the breaks and the D holds us together.......

I still think we win our first five games inclluding Minnesota at Iowa....

That was an exciting game yesterday, the Lads have drive and chaacter and will not give up........
 
The football team might win more games than they lose, but thats only because they have a weak schedule. Ferentz really messed up the team when he rearranged the football staff to give his son the big money job. The guy that moved over to the defensive line never had coached there before. Iowa has a lot of talent on the offensive line, and they have a potential all american tight end so he might even look good while he is putting in his on the job training. I think the real brains of the ferentz teams was Norm Parker though.
