Could the officials have reviewed this?

Since the officials so clearly missed the ball being pinned against the rim, what I wanna know is; Is that something they could go back and review at the next dead ball or is it not?

these refs instead of Teeing up Fran for his first outburst should have huddled up about that call. what the hell were all three looking at.

Maybe fran F bombed the court but he must have done something like that do get the quick Tech

No not during the game can't change that call. Reviews are for 3 pointers or during the last two min. and OT for possession and flagrant fouls (any time).

It's a play that should be reviewable. Play happens fast these days and people make mistakes but it's also one that is fixable. Don't know how it should be reviewed, if they wait for a timeout or they stop play right then and there and review it which sounds best to me.

It probably doesn't happen often enough to get people talking about changing the rules. What surprised me is we didn't get the make up calls that we see in virtually every game. It's gotten to the point where I think the NCAA is instructing the officials to keep the fouls close between teams and don't worry about what's called or how it's called. I think the refs have Fran and Woody on a very short leash.Woody commits a lot of fouls but he gets at least one phantom call per game. Fran's behavior is not as egregious as some of the oter coaches in the BIG. Barta should file a protest but as we all know hedoesn't have what it takes to do it.
