Everybody is yelling about Delaney & Barta. Maybe it is ABC/ESPN?
ABC/ESPN does provide 220 million reasons a year & the CBI basically televises opposite the NIT on ESPN. I have always been surprised that ABC/ESPN has allowed the BTN to compete against its late Saturday afternoon football games. Heck, for all we know the Big Ten agreed not to go to the CBI in order to televise football games at 3:30 P.M. Eastern Time.
I have nothing to back it up. I have tried to find a copy of the contract, but with no luck. It may seem crazy. However, it is not crazier than other speculations.
