Could Gameday make a trip to IC for the Iowa Michigan St Game

Hey Kobe, take it easy. No need to call me an idiot. I just floated a question.
Based on the hatred of all things ESPN that I usually read around here, it strikes me as pretty two-faced to lust after gameday.
Fowler sucks!
Desmond Howard is a doosh!
Dr. Lou sucks!
Mark May sucks!
Herby is/is not a fosu homer!
Corso is befuddled!
ESPN is totally in the bag for the SEC!
BUT WE WANT GAMEDAY! WAH WAH WAH!!

You'll notice that a lot of the people who want Gameday are NOT those who "hate all things ESPN". Mark May actually isn't bad. I don't really have a big problem with Howard. Corso doesn't do much real analysis these days, which is fine, he's the personality that makes Gameday fun to watch. ESPN is kind of in the bag for the SEC, no doubt about it. But Herby is serious if he says that 'Bama or Florida is better than anyone in the Big Ten. He's demonstrated over the years that he calls it how HE sees it, not the Mothership. One of the few truly objective analysts at ESPN, and that's why he's by far my favorite to listen to.

VH, I apologize. I had a weak moment. The Saints and/or Chargers are about to cost me a $750 win. I was and still am frustrated.

Anyhow, I agree with everything you said about all the ESPN people sucking. BUT 2 things- ERIN ANDREWS will be there is Gameday is!!! The other, there is no way ESPN being in Iowa City can be anything but a positive thing regardless of how dumb the ESPN guys are. All of America watches, and many recruits do too.

OK, back to cheering for the Saints and Chargers to PULL THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR BIELEMAS!!!
