Could early 3 crossover games help the hawks over the season?

It is unusual that the hawks first 3 conf games are the crossover games. The hawks have passed one of those tests Michigan may have some offensive woes. If the Hawks can get either Mich or Penn St or both and be 2-1 or 3-0 heading into the last part of the schedule that could be huge. KF's hawks are noted for getting better and better as the season goes on so maybe they could be really settled into their OFF Line lineup, offense clicking, and defense settled in by the time they start playing the West division rivals.

I would love to see it play out that way as the hawks get those West Conf wins.

Don't know about cross-over vs inter-division, but it is better to play a team early if they have a new coach, a new offense, or a young team.

In that sense, I think it's better to play Michigan early because they have a totally new offense. I think Wisconsin is catching a big break getting Michigan in September.

Well all the games count but I hope the hawks are a fine tuned machine by the time they head into West Div play

I like the division games at the end. It keeps the bigger prizes alive longer. Heck, Iowa could start 3-3, but if they swept the West, they would more than likely still be in Indy. For a team that typically gets better as the season moves along, give me the West teams in late October and November.
