Five game winning streak

After Rutgers at Carver

We have a tough 3 games coming up starting with UCLA next Monday

Followed by away games at Ohio State and Michigan

Close with Wisconsin at Carver

Certainly not a coincidence that Iowa's win streak has coincided with Lucy getting her groove on. If the Hawks run into a team that can shut her down defensively, it will be an uphill battle, but until then her game is a thing of beauty when she's hitting shots.
Impressed with Coach Jensen's handling of foul trouble with both Centers tonight. Gotta give her credit for holding the team together during that gut-wrenching 5 game BTEn losing streak, and coming up with a great defensive game plan tonight.
I almost never trash the refs, but I have to say that was the worst officiating crew I've seen this season -- men's or women's games. (And not because of the FT discrepency between the two teams.) Late whistles for no reason, obvious missed fouls in the lane, phantom fouls called, touch fouls that go uncalled 99% of the time -- it was truly a mess.
I don't think I've ever seen a college bball team play with as much joy as this year's Iowa women's team. They truly seem to like each other.

Great performance by Olsen. Affolder had a great line and was a steading influence on the floor. Iowa had very few turn overs. The foul situation was not good, but refs came up with some new ways to foul.
