Cordell Pemsl has withstood his share of injuries. That may be why the Hawkeye forward was able to play most of his freshman season in pain:

The good news is that if he can be healthy, he could be quite a good player. But sounds like he's had his share of injuries - I just hope that doesn't mean he's going to be one of those guys that's always dinged up and it keeps him from truly reaching his potential.

The problem is, that's an awfully big "if". If he's NOT healthy, he's going to lose playing minutes because of the logjam in the front court.

If he's not 100% at the start of the season, he may want to sit this year out. A senior front court of Pemsl, Garza, and Nunge would be a little intimidating.

Just my 2¢ .. .. GO HAWKS!!!

I love Pemsl's attitude and he played very well last year which is even more impressive now knowing he played in pain. But I still have concerns that his ceiling is much lower than Kreiner, Cook, Nunge and Garza and wouldn't be shocked if he gets passed for playing time at some point.
