Silly question here, but why do they fly players into Moline rather than CR? I'd think they'd want them on campus sooner than later after getting off a plane. 19 miles vs. 70 miles of the Iowa tundra.

Yeah I saw that tweet also. Followed by 5 tweets from some Michigan fan trying to say they have the best d-cooridinator around... Please. Go to someone who is unproven, or someone who has been around for awhile and known for turning out great d-linemen.

I think a good response would be "And where did that D Coordinator send his son to play college ball at?"

Because Moline actually offers some direct flights. Almost everyone comming in to Cedar Rapids has to take a puddle jumper in from Chicago. Direct flight + 1hr drive > Flight with stopover in the dealy capital of the world and a 30 min drive.

My point is that threads quite often go off on a tangent. See the Coker thread as an extreme example. I'm not saying it's either right or wrong, only that it's the way it is.

uh yeah...the Coker thead is epic and you are jealous you were not part of it. Get over it.
