Does anyone know his status? I know he's already been ruled out for tonight, but on a cast I was listening to today, it sounded like he might be working his way back and was "close" to being available. Meanwhile, every single rumor I've heard is that he has some sort of injury that will likely keep him out all season.

Anyone heard anything on his situation?

Shoulder related, was in the hospital, no one knows. Cool.

Well, the narrative and rumors I've heard have turned from out for year to was almost going to play tonight.

I haven't heard or seen a single thing about him. I feel like that's rare for an injured player.

yeah, I think since it caused hospitalization, it was really kept under wraps. There was a podcast that Mulvey did a month or so back right after it happened and Mulvey said he was in the hospital for the "same thing that happened to me" the year before. Lots of speculation that it was shoulder or rhabdo related and a close source I know told me privately that he had heard that he was considering a medical redshirt.

Now he's playing tonight. Such welcome news. I realize he's not going to be depended on this early in the year, but I really expect Coop to make strides as the year goes on. I feel like he can be a Freshman Keegan/Freshman Wieskamp type of role player off our bench and boy do we need that on this team
