Cooper DeJean Will Help Wherever Needed

Too bad wildcat Qb or offensive weapon of some sort wasn't one of the positions listed... I mean if you REALLY wanted to maximize his versatility and talent. JS

Who was the last really good two-way player, not at Iowa but any team D1 team?

Woodson at Michigan is first that comes to mind for me. I'm not suggesting DeJean get 10 snaps on O a game. Just give him a small package of 5 plays or so that he could run 1 or 2 of any given game. Be it redzone/ short yardage situations whatever. He was an absolute play maker with the ball in his hands and his athleticism translates. Hell even using him as a decoy for someone else to make a play could work.

I just want to see playmakers get touches. Watching guys like Brandon Smith get ignored in the redzone too much and Tyrone Tracy getting utterly ignored and then transferring out is getting old. All while watching Petras over throw guys or Ragini dropping the ball.

Now would be the time to use DeJean in such a role in the sense that he probably won't be starting on D and will only be playing situationally there too. He's not going to be run into the ground by playing a couple snaps or so on O too. Once he's playing every snap just about on D then I can understand the argument against it more.
